File You T4s so you can get Tax Refund, GST/HST Refund, Spousal Support and Northern Residents Deduction.
Things Needed:
1. T4:
Prepared by your employers. Usually ready by February. Please ask your employers.
2. Remittance Receipts:
Sa mga meron lang pong mga kabiyak na pinapadalhan sa Pinas. Pag kapatid or magulang, hindi po qualified.
Submit photocopies.
3. Rent Receipts
Submit this only if you lived in Alberta for at least 6 months of last year.
Submit photocopies.
4. Bank Account Routing Number or PO Box
You have the option to have the tax refund deposited straight to your bank account or by mail.
Just inform your accountant.
Call an accountant once these documents are ready.
Make sure it is filed on or before the due date to prevent delay.
Ask around for accountants. Make sure to ask the accountant if they have experience with filing of tax forms for foreign workers. If it is done incorrectly, you have to refile it and have to pay the accountant again.
