This blog discusses the experiences of a Filipino settler in a new foreign land. It aims to educate readers on how to cope with the challenges of being away from home. It is hoped that this blog will help equip fellow 'bagong salta' (new settler) with knowledge to deal with things that are new to them.
Also I need to mention that this blog was inspired by the life story of a Filipino who was a new settler too that I recently met. He admitted he's illiterate. He didn't finished his 2nd Grade in Elementary. He can't read nor write. However, his predicament did not stop him from learning new things. Now he has mastered his own trade: a mechanic.
